  Love the House Martin. It's local to my parents so often go here with them and with young children. The burgers are great and there are toys and books and crayons for the children too :)

  Food average pub grub which is overpriced. Good Hall & Woodhouse ales. My pooch loves it for the house treats.Not the place for a quiet romantic meal. It's a shame our last manager Harriet moved on!!

  Thought I'd pop in here after working late for a bite to eat, 1st time ever I've been here.
  It was quite busy but not overly so & I ordered some food & a drink & sat down.
  Well I waited & waited when some 50 minutes had passed & my food eventually arrived. I had ordered the lamb skewers large, I must say it was really jolly good & I really enjoyed it. Just what I wanted & it hit the spot. Just a shame they were really busy & had not advised me or the people on the next table about the wait, overall though it was good.
